The Division of Student Life, in partnership with Creighton Dining is excited to announce a renovation of Brandeis Hall featuring an expanded dining and kitchen area as well as new food concepts on the main level. On the lower level of Brandeis, new office space is being constructed for the Creighton Intercultural Center (relocating from Harper Center), the Lieben Center (relocating from McGloin Hall), VIP Center (relocating from the second floor of Brandeis), and Sodexo offices (relocating from Kiewit Hall and Skutt Student Center).
The renovation began in August 2017 on the lower level - the former Pharmacy Skills Lab space. Limited work will begin on the main dining level in January 2018 in the former VIP Center and AEA Office space. Work will extend to the existing dining and kitchen area in March 2018. As a result, Brandeis Hall will close for dining at Spring Break 2018. Brandeis will remain closed until the completion of the project in August 2018.
Brandeis Hall will serve its last meal of the semester at breakfast on Saturday, March 3rd, in order for renovation work to occur in the existing dining and kitchen space. We understand this closure will strain other dining locations and campus. As a result, the following dining adjustments will take effect on Monday, March 12th:
Becker Hall Weekday Hours
Becker Hall Weekend Hours
Wareham Court at Skutt Student Center
Harper Dining Hall
Relocated from Becker Hall, the renovated Brandeis will feature an in-house bakery serving fresh crepes, pastries, gourmet desserts, and waffles. In addition, the bakery will prepare all baked goods for Creighton's campus.
A new concept at Brandeis, the Italian Bistro features a coal-fired oven serving piping hot pizza, and fresh pasta made in-house.
Serving local ingredients, Mindful at Brandeis will serve fresh vegan and mindful recipes everyday. This station is dedicated to providing whole fruit and vegetables.
Simple Servings will be a new food concept at the renovated Brandeis Hall, providing safe food choices for customers with food allergies. All foods offered at Simple Servings are naturally free of milk, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, and gluten. Simple Servings follows procedures and training to eliminate cross contamination.
