Any Creighton affiliate parking a vehicle on property that is owned or leased by Creighton University at any time must have a decal or temporary hangtag issued by Public Safety.
Repositionable Decals
The University uses a repositionable decal, which must be affixed to the interior of the front windshield on the passenger side in the lower corner. The entire decal must be clearly visible from the outside—not positioned behind tinting or obscured by snow/ice.
The repositionable decal allows you to move your decal to another vehicle for a variety of reasons:
If you forget to move your decal from another vehicle, you must park on city streets or purchase a day pass at Public Safety. If you sell your vehicle, remember to keep your decal. If you lose your decal, you will need to purchase a new permit at the price applicable on the date of purchase. If your vehicle and/or decal is stolen or totaled, bring a police report to Public Safety to get a new decal. The person who purchases the permit is responsible for any citations issued to that permit, regardless of whose vehicle displayed the permit.
Faculty, staff and students can purchase garage parking in the Catalina Parking Garage:
To register for parking:
Employee parking areas are designated in blue. Lots designated in gold are available to any permit type. In addition to several surface parking lots, employee parking is available on the top decks of the 20th Street Garage and 24th Street Garage, as well as the bottom level of the 30th Street Garage. University ID cards and parking permits are required for all garages. From 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on business days, employees may only park in blue or gold parking lots and garages.
Recognizing that this will be a transitional year for many employees, who may slowly return to working in-person on campus, University leadership has approved a 25% reduction of the parking rates for full-time employees. Part-time employees will continue to receive a 50% discount from the full rate. We also continue to use a tiered pricing structure, which reflects our values by more equitably distributing the cost of parking based on the salary range in which an employee fell as of June 18, 2021. The adjustments are reflected in the tables below.
Register using the link that aligns with your HR status: Benefits-Eligible Employee or Non-Benefits-Eligible Employee, including long-term contract partners, temporary employees, and adjunct faculty.
Due to major construction projects impacting campus parking, many lots are being re-designated to allow multiple permit types. Review the new map and our campus parking regulations on this site.

In the interest of safety, Public Safety adjusts parking regulations during evenings and weekends.
Sanctions for violations of University parking rules and regulations include, but are not limited to fines, holds on University registration and records, vehicle immobilization or towing at the owner's/operator's expense, disciplinary actions from the Office of Community Standards and Wellbeing, and revocation of campus parking privileges. A vehicle that is immobilized due to excessive citations will be assessed a $50 fee to have the boot removed, in addition to any unpaid citations. A vehicle that displays a fraudulent or fabricated decal or pass will be assessed a $400 fee and any student involved will be referred to the Office of Community Standards and Wellbeing for potential disciplinary action. A student who places an old citation on the windshield in an attempt to avoid receipt of another citation will be assessed a $30 fee, in addition to the new citation.
Please pay citations by credit card online. If you would prefer to pay in person, you may do so by check or credit card at the Parking Services building located in Harper 1090.
Citations may only be appealed online using this appeal form. Appeals must be received within 7 days of the date the citation was issued. In-person appeals will no longer be accepted.
