Scholarships and Finances

We understand that a quality education is a major investment for both the student and their family. At Creighton, your education is an outstanding value. Scholarships are available to international students, and we also offer families MET (Monthly Electronic Transfer), a convenient, interest-free payment plan. We are confident that Creighton will stand out as an exceptional value.

Scholarships

Creighton University offers merit-based scholarships to international students. Scholarship recipients demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and potential, community involvement, and embody the Jesuit ideals

Matteo Ricci, S.J. Awards range up to 50% of tuition costs. International freshman and transfer applicants will be considered for Ricci Awards if they submit a completed application prior to March 1. No additional application is required.

A limited number of World Scholar Awards may be offered each year to outstanding international freshman applicants. These awards can cover up to 75% of the cost of tuition. An interview is required to be considered for World Scholar Awards. Students must submit a completed application no later than January 15 to be considered for this scholarship.

Monthly Electronic Transfer (MET) Plan

The MET Plan is a 10- or 12-month payment plan offered by the Business Office. Payments for the 10-month plan are scheduled from June through March, and those for the 12-month plan are scheduled from June through May. Both are automatically deducted from a savings or checking account on the 10th of each month. There is a yearly fee for this service ($105/10-month and $167/12-month) but no interest charge.
