Scholarships and Finances

Scholarships are available to international students, and we also offer families MET (Monthly Electronic Transfer), a convenient, interest-free payment plan. Creighton University offers merit-based scholarships to international students. Scholarship recipients demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and potential, community involvement, and embody the Jesuit ideals
Matteo Ricci, S.J. Awards range up to 50% of tuition costs. International freshman and transfer applicants will be considered for Ricci Awards if they submit a completed application prior to March 1. No additional application is required.
A limited number of World Scholar Awards may be offered each year to outstanding international freshman applicants. These awards can cover up to 75% of the cost of tuition. An interview is required to be considered for World Scholar Awards. Students must submit a completed application no later than January 15 to be considered for this scholarship.

Monthly Electronic Transfer (MET) Plan
The MET Plan is a 10- or 12-month payment plan offered by the Business Office. Payments for the 10-month plan are scheduled from June through March, and those for the 12-month plan are scheduled from June through May. Both are automatically deducted from a savings or checking account on the 10th of each month. There is a yearly fee for this service ($105/10-month and $167/12-month) but no interest charge.
